GoWesty and 4 Peaks are proud to present Band of Comerados performing “Speak My Peace” filmed at Camp GoWesty during the 4 Peaks Music Festival in June 2019. Band of Comerados has come a long way since their inception around campfire jams. Formed in 2015, the band spent the better part of two years honing their songwriting and improvisational jamming by taking gigs at pubs, breweries, block parties, house parties, weddings and more. What followed were shows at venerable Portland venues such as the White Eagle, Aladdin Theatre, and Wonder Ballroom. Band of Comerados keeps playing acoustic music that makes you feel good. With their new album, Trial & Error, the band continues to write songs that stoke optimism and positivity while addressing less sexy but unavoidable topics such as unrequited love and alcohol dependency. What sets the band apart is their intricate instrumentation, dual vocal harmonies, intense improvisational jams and the fact that these guys have so much damn fun when they are playing live music! In the end, through their music, you will get a sense that everything will be okay as long as we all do our part. Catch the band live in and around Portland and all around the greater Pacific Northwest.

GoWesty and 4 Peaks are proud to present Maddie Carpenter performing “Honey Pie” filmed at Camp GoWesty during the 4 Peaks Music Festival in June 2019. Maddie Carpenter is a singer-songwriter from Northern California. She is a lover of Americana, blues, and pop music—from Bonnie Raitt to Ariana Grande, she is inspired by female vocalists who are strong and have something to say. Maddie is accompanied by the stripped down, all-acoustic Whiskey Family Band. Jason Beard is a co-founder and songwriter for Northern California’s jamgrass favorites, Poor Man’s Whiskey. With the Whiskey Family Band, Jason teams up with various singer/songwriters (as well as PMW members past and present) for an eclectic exploration of musical styles ranging from country/Americana to psychedelic blues, jam, and more. An emphasis is on original songwriting, but the band also enjoys paying homage to their influences with some fun and ever changing covers (in the styles of Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers, Phish, Grateful Dead, etc.).

GoWesty and 4 Peaks are proud to present this Westy Session featuring CJ Neary and Maxwell Friedman performing “Not Right Now” filmed live at Camp GoWesty during the 4 Peaks Music Festival, June 2019. Neary (13) and Friedman (15) are natives of Bend, Oregon, and have been performing independently and together for years. “Not Right Now” was co-written by the pair during a jam session when they were busking some years back. CJ Neary picked up the fiddle at age five and began cultivating his love for music. It wasn’t long before his talent and determination led him to win multiple national fiddle competitions and appear on the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville. Maxwell Friedman was just 9 years old when he discovered a dusty Hammond M3 in the corner of his piano teacher’s garage. The sensation of moving the drawbars and hearing the Leslie spinning next to him was a magical moment that changed the course of his life—and set him on his current musical trajectory. Fast forward, and each musician now commands their own ensemble as The Maxwell Friedman Group and The CJ Neary Band. It was an incredible moment to see the two of them team up at 4 Peaks, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
