GoWesty and 4 Peaks are proud to present Jimbo Scott performing “Baby Don’t Let Me,” filmed at Camp GoWesty during the 4 Peaks Music Festival in June 2019.

Born in Memphis, TN, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jimbo Scott evokes traditions of Tennessee country and bluegrass mixed with Oakland soul and sepia-toned California vibes. Scott has honed his skills as a member of the famed Bay Area bluegrass jam band, Poor Man’s Whiskey. With Poor Man’s Whiskey announcing a hiatus at the end of 2019, Jimbo Scott aims to build on the momentum of the last two years and invite listeners far and wide to enjoy his own musical contributions.

We are thrilled to present this Westy Session featuring AJ Lee & Blue Summit, shot in Camp GoWesty at the 4 Peaks Music Festival in June 2019.

AJ Lee is the band’s lead vocalist and mandolinist. AJ began singing and performing on stage at the astonishing age of five. By age 12, she was writing her own songs and showcasing them nationwide. AJ is joined by Sullivan Tuttle (an acclaimed Americana artist), Jesse Fichman, and Chad Bowen. From a very young age, Jesse, AJ, and Sullivan grew up playing music together at California bluegrass festivals, honing skills in lightning-fast picking and skillful improvisation. In 2016, they formed Blue Summit, a Santa Cruz-based Americana band, where they were joined by bassist and singer Chad Bowen. The group has been joined recently by fiddle player, Jan Purat.

The band appeals to audiences of all ages with their wide range of material, including the music of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Merle Haggard, the Grateful Dead, swing standards, blues, bluegrass classics—and their original material. AJ Lee and Blue Summit are widely recognized for their unique sound, performing nationally and internationally alike.
