Scott Law Band
2019-06-23
Lava Rock Stage

Scott Law has been a highly-respected journeyman musician for decades. The fellow Oregonian has performed with many of the top artists in rock n roll and bluegrass such as Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, Peter Rowan, John Scofield, David Grisman, The String Cheese Incident, The Travelin’ McCourys, Tony Furtado, Nicki Bluhm, and more. For this Sunday afternoon performance, Scott put together a tight band to wrap up the last day of the Festival.

This set weaves its way through rock n roll, jazz, and instrumental genres and keeps you moving throughout. Those at the Lava Rock Stage for the show got a taste of both Scott’s songwriting and his ability to choose excellent covers. Bend’s own teenage fiddle virtuoso and 4 Peaks’ artist-at-Large CJ Neary sat in for the second half the performance.

Highlight: Make sure to stay until the end for their ripping cover of the Dr. John classic, “Right Place Wrong Time.
